Security and compliance FAQ

Is “Hyperbolic Global” part of Hyperbolic?

No. “Hyperbolic Global” (also seen as HyperbolicGlobal, Hyperboli Global, or apps and sites with similar names) is a scam. It is not connected to Hyperbolic in any way. We do not own it, run it, or receive any money paid to it. Hyperbolic rents GPU computers by the hour to developers and companies. Hyperbolic is not an investment. We do not pay earnings, returns, interest, or tokens, and there is no product where you deposit money and later withdraw a profit. The only real Hyperbolic sites are hyperbolic.ai and app.hyperbolic.ai. Hyperbolic accounts sign in with an email address. We do not give out account numbers that start with “HG”.
1

Stop sending money

Do not pay the site or app again, even if it asks for a fee to release your funds.
2

Contact your bank

Tell your bank, card company, or payment app that the payment was a scam.
3

Report it

Report it to your local police or cyber crime authority.
4

Keep evidence

Keep screenshots of the site, the app, your payments, and any messages.
We cannot see, freeze, refund, or withdraw money paid to that site or app, because it never reached Hyperbolic. We have reported Hyperbolic Global to the authorities and to the app stores.

Security and compliance

Each GPU instance runs in its own isolated environment, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and instances are accessed with your SSH key. See Security and Compliance.
Hyperbolic is working toward SOC 2 Type II and is not certified yet. Hyperbolic is not HIPAA certified. Do not put protected health information on the platform without talking to our team first. For compliance documents or a DPA, email support@hyperbolic.ai.
If a key or password may be exposed, change it now: revoke API keys in the dashboard and replace your SSH key. Then email support@hyperbolic.ai with “Security” in the subject line, and include what you saw, when, and which instance or account it affects.
Your password, your private SSH key, your API key, or your full card number. If someone claiming to be Hyperbolic asks for any of these, do not send them, and tell us.
